Get Started With NEAR.delivery

STEP 1: CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR AN INVITATION FROM NEAR.DELIVERY

In your inbox, you should have an invitation from NEAR.delivery. In that email, click on the "Sign Up Now" link. This link can only be used by you!

STEP 2: CREATE YOUR NEAR ACCOUNT

Enter the business information requested and create your account to get started.

STEP 3: COMPLETE YOUR NEAR PROFILE

Once you’ve signed up, finish entering your business’ information directly into your profile. This is the information about your business that customers will be able to view, including store information, store hours, and links to your social media pages!

STEP 4: ENTER YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFO

Have your routing number and account number ready for the bank account you’d like to receive direct deposits. Payments on the NEAR.delivery platform are secured by STRIPE. Not familiar with stripe? Find out more HERE.

STEP 5: ADD YOUR PRODUCTS TO YOUR STORE

Tell customers about your products! This is where you give detailed descriptions about your product, and upload photos. If you use Square, you will find this step much easier as NEAR.delivery is integrated. Just click on the "Square Integration" tab and follow the instructions.

STEP 6: BEGIN ACCEPTING ORDERS

Once an order is placed, you will receive an alert via email and text message. Those alerts will notify you of what is in the order so you can begin to prepare it.

STEP 7: PREPARE YOUR PRODUCTS FOR DELIVERY

Using the materials provided to you in the NEAR Starter Kit (or utilizing your own materials), package the order for pickup. Your NEAR.delivery bags have lines on the back for you to write the name and address of your customer (we also provided you with a marker for just this purpose). Once you have put all of the items in the bag and written the customer’s name and address on the appropriate lines, staple the bag closed with the Starter Kit's enclosed stapler.

STEP 8: NOTIFY US THAT THE ORDER IS READY FOR PICKUP

Once the order is ready, go to the NEAR.delivery homepage and login as a “Store Owner” (see the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner). Click on the “Orders” tab and then click the “Alert Courier” button so the courier knows to come to you for pickup.

STEP 9: GET PAID

Once the courier has delivered the order, you will receive an email and text alert notifying you. Payment will be deposited into the bank account you provided within 2-5 days.
